The VAXIGUARD data logger is designed to ensure that vaccines, and other temperature sensitive drugs, have been kept within their recommended storage temperature range of between 2°C and 8°C. If the ambient temperature in the
storage area deviates from the ideal for more that a preset amount of time, an audio alarm sounds together with a flashing LED to immediately annunciate a potential problem enabling remedial action to be taken thus saving the batch
from harm.
Up to 16,000 records can be stored in the logger which uses the powerful TempIT-Lite software package, running on a PC, to download the configuration and to retrieve the data. The PC operating software, TempIT-Lite is free from our web site or, alternatively, the VAXIGARD can be used with the TempIT-Pro package to provide greater functionality including Mean Kinetic Temperature (MKT) calculation which is directly related to shelf life. Either version provides a
powerful yet easy to use graphing package as well as providing a platform to set up and issue the logger. Up to 450 characters of manifest information are held within the logger for easy identification and data retrieval.
Data can be displayed and stored locally or at some other remote centralized location if connected by a modem.
