The SL151T-HS is a secure data logging system, designed to assist with a quality systems which will be validated to FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HACCP or FSIS. The system is based around the highly successful SL150 series data loggers. The SL151T-HS itself is a totally sealed, crevice free data logger constructed from food grade polystyrene which has been approved for use by the Royal Institute of Pulic Health. Once configured, the data logger is placed in direct contact with the goods to be monitored, not on the outside of a package, this logger will record the exact temperature that the goods have been subjected to. Once the monitoring period is completed, the data logging tag is taken back to the computer and the TempIT-HS software is used to extract the stored information. The TempIT-HS software is a secure system that tracks all operations in a audit file. Each time a tag is read it is stored in the audit file. Once the data are extracted, the user is prompted to save the file, if the operator chooses to do so, they will be validated as a user by entering username and password. This identification information is then embedded in the secure file and presented on any printouts. The TempIT-HS software allows administrators to add and remove users as well as set password format and timeouts. The latest version of the TempIT-Pro and TempIT-HS software now automatically calculates the mean kinetic temperature (MKT) over the whole logged period or smaller intervals if the zoom function is used.
